On Wednesday we decided that we would ditch any schedule, and play everything by ear. Oh and did I mention that the weather was to die for? We slept a little longer, stayed in PJ's have the day and had a ton of fun! While still in our PJ's we played with bubble's, were superhero's, and played baseball, all in the front yard while neighbors were probably thinking we were crazy! After we were all dressed and ready for the day (because for some reason everyone is under the impression that being dressed somehow makes you all ready for the day. What's wrong with PJ's all day? :)) My sister in law and her kids came over. Kaid and Brielle love playing with Jack and Charly, and so were instantly excited to be with them. They played happily at the house until we shuttled them to the park for a few hours, and then back to Nana's for some swimming. I am always surprised that little kids can swim in freezing cold pools so happily! A big thank you to Uncle Adam for taking them swimming!! We finally had to say enough was enough when they were convulsing with shivers and lips were blue! It just makes me happy to sit back and watch my kids have fun, and they were having TONS of it with their cousins!
After all the fun, it was naps for the kids, and painting pottery for the girls. Brian's mom, Dan's girlfriend Heather and I headed to a pottery shop to paint. It was surprisingly relaxing, and I really enjoyed myself! After pottery we stuffed ourselves at PF Chang's, so good, and headed home.
What a great day to end the vacation!

Nana with the kids having a picnic at the park. We love you Nana!

Brielle LOVES the slide! She must have gone down 30 times. That's a lot when you have to climb back up every time!

Kaid on the lookout. Protecting the slide with his Lego gun! Thanks Uncle Adam for building and fixing so many Lego guns this week!

Loving the swing! And don't worry, he still hasn't let go of the Lego gun!

Brielle sat in the swing saying "throw me out" (I finally figured out she had forgotten the word "push" so she was just describing what she wanted to have happen!) for almost 40 minutes!
