Playing catch up...

I finally got the pictures off of my camera and I have a little time to blog, so here goes. All the things that have happened over the last few months are worth blogging about, so just a little disclaimer; this will be a long post!

First of all, I am in love with my amazing family! Look at them, aren't they so cute? I am so grateful, everyday, every moment, for Brian. He is my strength and my best friend. I am so blessed with two beautiful healthy kids.

Kaid loves Brielle so much! We can't keep him away from her!

Brielle is getting so big so fast! This week she has started cooing and smiling. She seems to respond to Kaid the most. I can't imagine why, but she loves when he is up in her face and tickling her. She gives some of her biggest smiles to her brother! And of course he loves it! She has been such a good baby. We have had quite a few feeding problems, but we are working on them and she is getting better. For all the pain and discomfort that I know she must be in, she is SO good!

She is more awake and alert everyday!

Kids are so peaceful when they sleep aren't they?

Kaid is quite a character these days! He loves tor-torn (popcorn) and ice cream cones. He hates sleeping in his bed. We find him sleeping all over the house! His personality gets more and more fun everyday. He talks a lot now, which I love! It's a lot easier to communicate when it's not one sided! He is totally into everything vehicle related; cars, boats, airplanes, trains, helicopters. I realized I was letting him watch too much tv when a few weeks ago, we had a broadcasted stake conference, and he walked in and very loudly and joyfully said, "Mom! We watch show at church!" I love my little man!!

One afternoon when we went to my mom's house he ran ahead of me and closed himself between the door and the screen. He's just silly!

He loves when Hot Rod lets him drive his cars!

Kaid loves his daddy! Aren't my two boys so handsome!

Kaid has really taken a liking to helping in the kitchen. But that doesn't surprise me, he does come from a long line of chef's! :)

We are finally put our back yard in! After 3 years in the house we decided it was time for Kaid to have a place to play. We are digging a hole for the trampoline, Brian put in curbing and put down sod, and built me planters. I am so excited to be done with my weed garden!

Josh came over to help. But the biggest helper of all was Kaid!
Halloween was so much fun this year! Kaid loved being a pirate, and he thought his "Princess Rielle" was so cute! He had so much fun trick or treating with Cooper, Ella, Nana, Katie, Dad and Hot Rod! He sounded so cute saying trick-or-treat!

Rrrr matey!
Kaid was SO HAPPY to have Nana and aunt TT come and spend Halloween weekend with him. He was so sad when they left. We love you guys!

And last but not least, last weekend mom did the Breast Cancer Three Day walk. We went and cheered her on all along the way. We love her and are proud of her dedication to doing her part! We love you Grammy!

Things are getting back to normal for us. I have really adjusted well to having two kids. I started tutoring again, which I really enjoy doing. Brian is working a lot, which I am extremely grateful for. We are super excited for the upcoming holiday season and all that goes along with it!
